A stylish Spode bone china coffee can with a bold line of black enamel centring a gilt geometric frieze of diagonals and dots within a gilt frame. Gilt band above the foot, along rim and detail and edging to the handle. c.1805.
It measures 6cm (1 3/8") high and 6.5cm (2 1/2") rim to rim.
Condition is very good with no damage or repairs. The gilding has some wear on one side and slightly to the rim.
