Dimensions:
Nice late 19th century Grainger's bone china loving cup with a bright candyfloss pink ground and a very finely painted reserve of a vignette of Worcester across the River Severn. Gilded decoration framing the reserve, gilded rims and detail on the handles with acanthus leaf moulding to the thumb rests. Shield mark to the base with G&Co inside and Grainger's, Worcester below, c.1870.
It measures 11cm (4 5/16") high, 17.2cm (6 3/4") across the handle and 9.8cm (3 7/8") rim to rim. Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. Some rubbing to the gilding on the rim and edges of the handles, minimal surface wear to the pink enamel or main decoration.
