George III Silver Snuff Box Engraved Geometric Panels Birmingham 1809

Gorgeous Georgian silver snuff box hallmarked for Birmingham 1809 maker John Taylor. Unusual bright cut engraved decoration in abstract geometric panels on one side with different shaped leaves and curvy shapes in each with prick-dot textured background, along with criss-crossed panels and sections with crossed squares looking like pyramids. the long sides have a Greek key type pattern. The other side has a twining oak branch with prick-dot textured background. A very striking modern looking design.

Gilt washed inside with top and bottom hallmarked. It measures 2 1/2" log and 1 3/4" wide. It weighs 35.7g/1.26oz/1.15ozt. 

Condition is excellent; there are a couple of really tiny, shallow knocks but hardly visible, please see all the close up photos.
