German Volkstedt Monkey Band Drummer Figure

Very sweet German figure of a monkey band member by either Carl Schneider or Volkstedt. Lovely quality figure with detailed modelling and very finely painted decoration. After the originals by Meissen, this one has similar pastel colourings to the base and represents the drummer.


Condition is very good but he has lost the top of his right drumstick.

Minimal surface wear, just a bit of rubbing to the gilding on the base.
