Edwardian English Silver Overlaid Bristol Blue Glass Baluster Vase Art

Absolutely gorgeous small Bristol blue glass baluster posy vase with a superb silver overlaid decoration in pure organic art nouveau styling. The silver has bright cut to the ornate star feature over the foot and around the scalloped bands round the base and upper rim. Further engraved detail to define the detail of the leaves around the shoulders. Hand blown glass with polished pontil.

Hallmarked for Birmingham 1902 with maker's initials W.D.B & S.

It measures 5 3/8" high and 2 3/8" wide across the base.

Condition is excellent to both glass and silver.
