George III Silver Cream Jug London 1808

Lovely stylish George III silver cream jug with multiple reeded band around the body up to the spout and gadrooned rim. The handle is nicely angled with tiered fluting to the top half and a smooth overlapping lower spur, set on 4 bun feet. It has initials engraved to the front.


Hallmarked for London 1808, maker's mark rubbed.

It measures 4" high, 2" wide and 5 3/4" spout to handle. It weighs 167.5g/5.39ozt.


Condition is very good: there are a couple of small shallow dints only, and light surface wear.
