Lovely Liverpool porcelain tea bowl and saucer in the Liverbirds pattern, c.1770, most probably by the Philip Christians manufactory.


The bowl measures 8cm (3 1/8") wide and 4.5cm (1 3/4") high, and the saucer is 12.5cm (4 7/8") wide and 2.2cm (7/8") high.


Condition is very good with no damage or restoration: Some light surface wear and a few minor firing blemishes from kiln dust, mainly around the rim of the tea bowl.
