SOLD

Code: FA0534

Dimensions:

W: 19cm (7.5")H: 4cm (1.6")D: 17cm (6.7")

Lovely and unusual first period Worcester porcelain fig leaf dish with finely modelled vein decoration and painted in polychrome enamels with a pale green and yellow border and scattered garden flowers.

Provenance: the Zorensky collection as illustrated in Spero & Sandon, page 118, plate 85. It has lost it's collection sticker but you can see from the details it is the same dish.

It measures 19cm (7 3/8") long, 17cm (6 3/4") wide and 4cm (1 5/8")  high.

Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration. Surface wear is light, just to a couple of tiny places on the rose. There is a small firing line along the side of the stalk and a few kiln dust dots.
