Dimensions:
Early George III silver beaker of squat form with flared tapered sides. Subtly converted from a brandy pan, there is minimal sign where the handle once was even under high magnification. Set on a collet foot with reeded borders to the foot and rim, now a very attractive and useful drinking cup.
Hallmarked for London 1764, maker's AN & IS which are unidentified.
It measures 6.3cm (2 1/2") high, 7.3cm (2 7/8") across the rim and 7cm (2 3/4") across the base. It weighs 117g/3.8ozt.
Condition is very good with no damage or repairs bar where the handle has been removed from outside the body and very good surface condition.
