Pretty early Worcester shallow bowl/dish or deep bowled plate with scallop shaped edge with gilded rim and painted in a French green enamel in a band around the rim with serrated inner edge mirroring an inner ring framing a conventional flower with gilded stem and leaf decoration, c.1770. Referenced in "Coloured Worcester Porcelain Of The First Period" by Marshall, plate 33, item 711.

It measures 21.3cm (8 3/8") wide and 3.5cm (1 3/8") high.

Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. Light surface wear to the gilding and some slight dulling to the enamel as often occurs with these green enamels. There is a small section of the rim on the reverse with discoloration and a short firing hairline (shown fully in the final photo).
