Pretty miniature late Georgian silver vinaigrette in the form of a purse or satchel with fine chased detail front, back and sides. Pierced grill and gilded inside. 

Hallmarked for Birmingham 1818, maker Lawrence & Co.

It measures 2.3cm (7/8") by 2cm (3/4") wide and 0.6cm (1/4") deep and weighs 7g. 

Condition is excellent with just minor handling wear.
