Code: FA0417
Dimensions:
Charming small George I silver brandy warming pan of typical round bellied form with side spout, tubular handle with heart shape terminal and finishing with a carved wood finial.
Hallmarked for London 1723, maker James Smith I.
It measures 16.5cm (6 1/2”) bowl to handle, 7.5cm (3”) wide across the bowl, 9cm (3 1/2”) high to the handle and 5.5cm (2 1/8”) high to the bowl. It weighs 92g/2.9ozt.
Condition is very good: some light re-shaping to the base, there has been a small repair to the handle terminal where it joins the body and also to the spout at the join. One minor ding to the body and the wood handle is a bit roughened but nice and stable. It has an engraved monogram on the side.
