Very nice George III silver wine fine funnel with single piece funnel and pull out strainer bowl. Funnel struts to the sides to allow for aeration during pouring. Plain polished form with reeded detail to both the top of the funnel and the rim of the strainer and the latter with a scallop shell shaped clip.
Both pieces hallmarked for London 1810, makers Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard.
It measures 13cm (5 1/8") long and 7.8cm (3") wide and weighs 143g/4.6ozt.
Condition is very good with no damage or repairs and just minor and common signs of age and use to the surface, a few pinpricks to the spout and inside the strainer and a few very minor dints to the main body. Light surface wear, a very little rubbing to the edge of the hallmarks but clearly legible. There is a small monogram engraved of R.T
