Attractive George IV silver vinaigrette with pretty machine engraved decoration top and bottom with a vacant cartouche to the lid. Cast rim to the lid of flowers and leaves and reeded detail down the sides. Gilded inside with an ornate pierced and engraved grille with detailed scrolled feathery leaves.

Hallmarked to the lid, base and grille for Nathaniel Mills Birmingham 1827.


It measures 3.7cm (7/16") wide by 2.5cm (1") and 1cm (3/8") high and weighs 19g/0.6ozt.

Condition is very good with just a very slight rubbing around the edges of the cartouche. Other detail lovely and crisp, marks clear and gilding nice and bright.
