Very nice large silver mounted threaded glass match striker with a light gilt wash inside. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1928, maker John Grinsell & Sons.
It measures 10.2cm (4") wide and 9.5cm (3 1/2") high and weighs a hefty 814g.
In excellent condition with no scuffing / fritting to the glass as is often the case and very minor handling wear to the silver.
