Very nice pair of early 20th century Noritake porcelain vases of baluster form with twin handles with scrolled detail to the top. Painted in panels with flowers and foliage in pretty pastel shades of turquoise, pale blue, pink, green and golden yellow with royal blue framework and with over-painted gilded detail in seaweed and scrolled patterns and raised gilding around the flowers. The handles, foot rims, and rims are also gilded.
Blue printed marks to the bases and shape date them to the c.1920s.
They measure 15cm (5 7/8") high and 10cm (4") wide.
Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. Some wear to the gilding on the handles and rims; otherwise surface wear is very light.
