Very pretty large New Hall teapot in the old oval shape with pagoda style knop and loop strap handle. Pattern 546 decorated with orange roses and gilded sprigs with gilded rims and a pretty swirl to the knop. The spout has fine gilded decoration also.
Dating from c.1800-c.1810. The pattern number has been mis-painted 346 on the underside (a colour variant is 344 so I assume a simple mistake).
It measures 6 1/2" high, 10 1/2" long and 4 3/4" wide.
Condition is excellent with no damage bar two tiny frits to the edge of the spout and some light surface wear from age and use.
