Fine Georgian Silver Bombe Teapot 1806

A really lovely Georgian silver teapot of bombe shape with concave concentric fluting to the lower body and reeded decoration to the waist. A gadrooned detail to the edge of the shoulder and knop. Set on 4 ball feet with a wooden handle and generous sweeping spout with heart shape pourer. A small phoenix crest to one side, no engraving to the other. Hallmarked to the base for London 1806, maker James Turner I believe and partial marks to the cover and knop. 

It measures 25.5cm (10") long, 11.5cm (4 1/2") wide and 16.2cm (6 3/8") high. It weighs 660g / 21.2ozt and has an easy 2 pint capacity. 

In very good condition: there has been a small unobtrusive repair to the join area of one of the feet but no other issues, damage or repair. No dents and very minor handling wear. The handle and knop are fully secure. Clean inside, ready for use.
