A very stylish Edwardian silver teapot by Walker & Hall. A nice bombe shape with concave fluting up the corners running over the shoulders and up the lid. A reeded band runs around the middle with 4 lovely classic art nouveau squares of swirling foliage at the corners. A gadrooned edge to the shoulders and set on 4 ball feet. A nicely carved ebonised wood handle and knop.
Hallmarked for Sheffield 1908, marks for Walker & Hall to the base, side, lid and nut.
It measures 11" (28cm) long, 5" (13cm) wide and 7" (18cm) high. It weighs 717g/23ozt.
Condition is very good with no damage or dents and just light surface wear, slight rubbing to the marks on the side, all others very good.
