Fine Derby Porcelain Ecuelle Bowl, Cover & Stand Pattern 431

Superb late Georgian Derby porcelain ecuelle bowl, cover and stand of circular shape with side handles and pointed knop finial. Decorated in pattern number 431 with wide bands of a fawn ground (pale salmon) under a gilt trellis with raised blue jewel dots separated by white ground with ornate gilt foliate running border. The handles have a trailing pattern of graduated stylized bows, ribbons and dots. Stand and bowl with puce marks and pattern number, c.1800-1805.

The stand measures 18.5cm (7 1/4") wide and 3.2cm (1 1/4") high, The bowl measures 13.5cm (5 1/4") wide rim to rim ((16.8cm (8 5/8") across the handles) and 10cm (4") high with the cover in place.

Condition is excellent with no damage, repair or restoration and no discernible handling wear.
