Fabulous early 20th century silver sugar caster with open wirework body and Bristol blue glass liner. A very pretty design set on pedestal base with vertical stripes up the body with a decorative band of rings running around the middle. Fitted with a twist lock lid with wrythen finial and attractive piercings. The liner is original to the piece, bullet shaped to perfectly fit the frame.

Hallmarked for London 1911 makers Edward John and Noble Haseler.

It measures 7" high and 2 1/2" wide. Silver weight is 149g/4.8ozt.

Condition is excellent with just light surface wear from age and use. There is the very faintest wobble to the base but no discernible dints. The liner is perfect.
