Georgian New Hall Porcelain Oval Sucrier Orange Roses

Georgian New Hall Porcelain Oval Sucrier Orange Roses

Code: EA0672

SOLD

Very pretty large New Hall lidded sucrier in the old oval shape with pagoda style knop and moulded ring 'handles'. Pattern 546 decorated with orange roses and gilded sprigs with gilded rims and a pretty swirl to the knop.

Dating from c.1800-c.1810. The pattern number has been mis-painted 346 on the underside (a colour variant is 344 so I assume a simple mistake).

It measures 5 1/4" high, 6" by 4 1/4" wide.

Condition is very good with no damage, just some rubbing to the gilding mainly to the pot rim and handles. A small firing line inside the base, some black firing dots at the edges and one of the gold sprigs has been missed from one side.
