Fabulous early George III silver lemon/punch strainer with ornate rococo scrolled handles and pretty geometric pierced detail to the bowl.
Hallmarked for London 1762, maker's mark for Samuel Courthauld.
It measures 1 1/2" high, 9 5/8" across the handle and 4 1/8" rim to rim. It weighs 163g/5.2ozt.
Condition is very good with no damage or splits; the handles are fairly level but with slight kinks unsurprisingly. Surface wear is light, good and appropriate for age and use.
