Lovely pair of Victorian Staffordshire flatback spill vases formed as a stag being chased by a hound, dating from c.1860. The stags each have 2 legs moulded free. Small shredded clay flowers set on a white ground with red inside the spill holders. Gilded bands around the bases.


They measures 6" high, 5 1/4" wide and 2 1/4" deep.

Condition is good; both have some small nibbles to the spill holder rim and one has some discolouration to the rear of the holder. A little surface wear, a few tiny paint flakes and some rubbing to the gilded bands.
