Dimensions:
Early 19th century Staffordshire pottery pearlware figure of a ewe and her lamb on a naturalistic base, set against a floral bocage.
Made by the Ralph Salt manufactory, c.1820, with impressed mark to the back.
It measures 16cm (6 1/4") high, 10cm (4") wide and 7cm (2 3/4") deep.
Condition is very good; there are a few small losses to the left side of the bocage, a small shallow chip to the outside of the base at the back and a larger chip inside the base, also at the back and barely visible outside, with a short associated hairline. Some small areas of enamel paint loss to the base only.
