A very pretty Victorian silver cup of goblet shape on a flared pedestal foot with ornate embossed acanthus leaf decoration with cast textured detailing. Reeding to the rim and gilt washed inside. Hallmarked for Sheffield 1843, maker Henry Wilkinson & Co.
It measures 10.7cm (4 1/4") high and 8.3cm (3 1/4") wide and weighs 141g / 4.6ozt.
In very good condition with no dents and minor handling wear in the main although the hallmarks are partially rubbed. It would have had a handle originally.
