A very stylish and unusual art deco silver beer mug with tapering plain polished sides with a flared collect foot. A reeded border runs around the lower part of the body. An attractive angular handle with cast ribbed detail to the upper surfaces and down the back. Hallmarked for Sheffield 1945, makers Atkin Brothers. It bears no engravings.
It measures 12cm (4 3/4") high, 9.3cm (3 5/8") rim to rim and 12.8cm (5") rim to handle. It has a 1 pint capacity. It weighs 338g / 10.9ozt.
In excellent condition with no damage, dents or repairs and very minor handling wear.
