Nice pair of Georgian silver berry spoons with fluted bowls with later embossed decoration of fruit and foliage with fine engraved detailing. Further engraved decoration up the handle and with a pretty band of engraved stars up the middle of the handle. Light gilt wash to the bowls.
Vacant cartouches to the front and the reverse carries the hallmarks for London 1778, maker William Cattell.
They measure 8 1/2" long with the bowls 1 5/8" wide and weigh 109g/3.5ozt.
Condition is very good with no damage or repairs and light surface wear appropriate for age; the hallmarks are a bit rubbed but legible on one.
