An attractive cut glass scent bottle with deep hobnail design, star cut base and faceted shoulders. With original glass stopper and the thread for the cap is cut into the neck of the bottle so the lid screws directly to the bottle itself. Stylish silver lid of spherical shape with deep collar and ribbed detail, gilded inside.
Hallmarked for London 1888, maker Spink & Son (John Marshall Spink).
It measures 14cm (5 1/2") high and 10cm (4") wide. It weighs 500g and the silver weighs 24g / 0.8ozt.
Condition is excellent with no damage or chips to the glass and no dents or repairs to the silver. The maker's mark is slightly rubbed.
