Stunning little Russian silver and cloisonne enamel egg shape scent bottle on chain, possibly once on a chatelaine. Beautiful bright colours with a deep blue ground, red, white, green, various blues and purples and a gorgeous teal colour forming flower form patterns and scalloped and beaded borders. A silver dipper with enamel ball top screws into the body and a fine chain comes from each piece.
Hallmarked on all the loops and on the dipper for 84 koloshnik standard silver Moscow mark late 19th century and maker's initials NA (cyrillic "HA") for Nikolay Alekseyev.
It measures 5.5cm long excluding mounts and weighs 25g.
Condition is excellent.
