Lovely stylish silver tray with raised, shaped sides with patterned raised rim and machine engraved decoration across the body of the tray with central vacant circular cartouche. Perfect for use on a dressing table, or on a desk, its good size makes it useful for a number of purposes including serving cakes or sweetmeats.
Hallmarked for London 1926, makers Robert Pringle & Sons.
It measures 31cm (12 1/8") by 22cm (8 5/8") wide and 1.7cm (9/16") high. It weighs 405g / 13.0ozt.
Condition is good; there has been a small repair to the back in one corner which shows a little fire-stain on the front, please see the final photographs. Otherwise no damage and surface wear is light and the marks are clear.
