A good pair of George II silver table salts of classical cauldron shape, set on three stepped hoof feet with acanthus leaf terminals and wavy gadrooned rims. Gilt washed inside and with an engraved monogram. Hallmarked for London 1750, maker David Hennell I.

They measure 4.2cm (1 5/8") high and 7.3cm (2 7/8") wide with a combined weight of 136g / 4.4ozt. 

In very good condition with no damage or repair and minor handling wear in the main but the hallmarks are partially rubbed.
