A Swansea creamware plate black printed with a large sailing ship at sea with naval trophies, cannon, anchor, trident, figurehead, etc. in the foreground. Impressed mark Dillwyn to the reverse. Cambrian Pottery, Swansea, c.1830.
It measures 22.2cm (8 3/4") wide and 2.5cm (1") high.
In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration. The surface is crazed, no discolouration, and minimal handling wear.
