Very pretty English silver snuff box with white guilloche enamel lid with painted decoration of forget-me-nots sprays in the centre and gilded stars in a band around the edge and gilded interior.
Hallmarked for Chester 1910 with maker's marks for Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd.
It measures 2 1/8" by 1 3/8" wide and 11/16" high and weighs 33g.
Condition is fair with a small strip of enamel lost along the top edge. Otherwise just light surface wear and it closes well.
