Lovely mid 19th century boiled leather fire bucket with copper rim, riveted seams to the foot and sides and with a painted and gilded royal coat of arms to the front.
It measures 11" high (19" with the handle) and 10 1/2" wide.
Condition is very good: the leather handle has some cracks as you would expect but still sound and strong. No holes or splits, the bucket and rivets are all solid. The painted decoration has been rubbed and there are light surface marks but still a very decorative piece.
