Stunning antique Italian tabernacle mirror with ornate gilt gesso decoration on a wooden base. Smothered in scenes of children or putti making merry as well as more important looking figures with birds. The glass is bevelled but not original. To the back is a label stating "Lord Spencer Compton".
It measures 21" high, 18" wide and 3 1/2" deep.
Condition is very good but with a few signs of wear and tear.
