Code: FA0846
Dimensions:
An unusual early 20th century child's teething ring made of mother of pearl with a silver abacus frame with 6 sliding beads on each bar.
Maker's mark only for William Vale & Sons, c.1902-1919.
It measures 4.5cm (1 3/4") wide and 7cm (2 3/4") top to bottom and weighs 11g.
It has a few condition issues, the top of the frame is missing 2 ball finials and the open ends of the frame are a bit squashed. There are a few small dents to the frame and a crack across the mother of pearl with an associated chip on one side.
