A rare silver double coil stamp dispenser box designed for 2 rolls of stamps to sit inside and dispense through slots in the lid which holds windows to view the required stamp. Elegant, simple design with a curved rectangular shape on a pedestal base. The top hinges open to reveal the 2 gilded compartments.

Hallmarked, top and bottom, for William Hornby, London, 1903. It has been engraved on one side "Princes G.C. 1st Prize 1903" which may suggest an historic golfing connection.


It measures 3" by 2" wide and 1 3/4" high and weighs 101.7g/3.27ozt.


Condition is very good: there is a slight bruise to one corner and just a couple of light surface marks.
