Early 19th century Coalport jardiniere and stand with pseudo ring handles. Boldy decorated in a bright yellow ground with a frieze of pink roses and leaves against a black background. Gilt rims and "handles". Unmarked, c.1800-1810
It measures 13.7cm high together, the pot measuring 10.8cm (4 1/4") and 11.5cm (4 1/2") wide.
Condition is very good. There are three hairlines running from the hole in the base of the pot. Some minor crazing and discolouration inside the base of the pot. Some gilt wear to the rims and handles. Very minor handling wear to the yellow ground.
