A New Hall bone china bute shape tea cup and saucer decorated in pattern number 921 with an underglaze mazarine blue ground reserving stylised white flowers on a gilt vine with pale green leaves and red stamens. Delicate gilt foliate decoration runs over the blue ground, a further gilt accents to the rims and handle. Unmarked, c.1800-1810.

The cup measures 5.7cm (2 1/4") high and 8.5cm (3 5/16") rim to rim. The saucer measures 14.1cm (5 9/16") wide and 2.7cm (1 1/8") high.

In good condition with no damage or repair. Some wear to the gilding, mainly to the decoration on the white ground below the main frieze, the rims and handle. The main frieze has only minor handling wear.
