An attractive half pint silver mug in Georgian style with round bellied shape with classic shape handle with small spade shape terminal at the bottom. Decorated with a stylish overlaid border of alternating maple leaves with engraved vein detail and fleur de lys.
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1922, maker Alexander Clark & Co. and further marked to the base with retail mark "The Alex Clark Co Ltd, London". It has an attractive monogram engraved to one side of RGS. Perfect as a christening gift or for use an a small half pint beer mug.
It measures 8.2cm (3 1/4") high, 10.2cm (4") rim to handle and 7.6cm (3") wide. It weighs 173g / 5.6ozt.
Condition is very good with no damage or dents and light surface wear.
