Lovely George II half pint tapering silver mug with straight sides and a tucked under belly. Scroll handle with thumb rest and sitting on a stepped pedestal foot.
Hallmarked for London 1729 by Edward Pocock. The initials I*B are also engraved to the base.
It measures 3 3/4" high, 4 1/4" wide rim to handle and 2 3/4" across the base. It weighs 188g/6.7oz/6.1ozt.
Condition is very good with no damage or dents but there has been a previous, neat repair at the join of the handle to the body. There are 2 small surface marks to the right of the handle but otherwise surface wear is light, and good and clean inside.
