Lovely Charles II silver trefid spoon by John King. Simple, clean example with a reeded rat tail to the back of the bowl.
Fully marked with the London leopard, lion and maker's initials. The year mark is partially obscured but I believe is the Q for 1763. The owner's initials R*V are also engraved to the rear of the finial.
It measures 19cm (7 1/2") long and the bowl is 4.8cm (1 7/8") wide. It weighs 55g/1.8ozt.
Condition is excellent with no damage and light surface wear for age.
