Very pretty Minton pot pourri dish and cover in the Regency rococo style with finely modelled flowers and foliage of readily identifiable spring flowers of primrose, daffodil, lily of the valley, primula and crocus are applied to the white cover with floral sprays painted in between in bright enamels. An impressively dense smothering of spring and summer flowers covers the walls of the base. Pretty cyan green twig type handles with a few small flowers and the rims edged with gilding and dentil borders.

Printed and impressed marks to the base and cypher date mark for 1873.

It measures 25cm (9 3/4") by 22.5cm (8 7/8") wide and 6cm (2 1/2") high.

Condition is excellent with no damage bar just a couple of small petal losses, very minor for this type of decoration. No restoration and very light surface wear to the gilding and enamels, just a little to the cyan enamel on the handles.
