Novelty pair of Edwardian silver gardening trugs by James Dixon & Sons. Panel effect bodies with stepped rims, arched feet and simple squared strap handles. A good size, perfect for bonbons or trinkets.
Hallmarked for Sheffield, one 1909, the other 1910, the marks are in different places on each, one has the full JD&Co. marks on the handle with Sussex Goldsmiths Co. Brighton on one side, the other with the JD&Co marks on the side.
They measures 4 3/8" long, 2 3/8" wide and 2 5/8" high. They weigh 75g/2.4ozt in total.
Condition is very good with just a couple of minor dints.
