Pretty and unusual set of six Dutch silver placecard holders formed as grand galleon ships with pierced detail and engraving to finely detail the sails, rigging, timbers on the sides of the boats complete with cannon holes and the rippling waves of the sea below. Set against a simple triangular frame.
Each marked to the front with the small item sword mark and makers mark CB* at the point of the stand.
They measure 3.3cm by 4cm across the front panel and 4cm deep. In total they weigh 67g/2.5ozt.
Condition is very good with no damage and just light surface wear.
