A pretty late 18th century Meissen porcelain coffee can and saucer, straight sided with squared handle with triangular terminals with reeded moulding. Well painted in bright enamels with a large floral arrangement and several smaller surrounding sprigs, both pieces have wide gilt bands around the rims and gilt edging to the handle. Marcolini period marks to the base and gilder and decorator numbers to the underside of the cup.
The cup measures 6.5cm (2 1/2") high and 6.7cm (2 5/8") rim to rim. The saucer measures 13.3cm (5 1/4") wide and 2.8cm (1 1/8") high.
In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration and minimal handling wear.
