An unusual and very rare 'baby' silver marrow scoop spoon of small proportions and slim to both ends designed to reach into very small bones.
Hallmarked for 1797, with the lion passant, head of George III and distinctive shaped makers initials I think are for Abel Brokesby.
It measures 14.3cm (5 3/8") long. The wider spoon measures 0.8cm (5/16") wide and the smaller spoon is 0.6cm (1/4") wide. It weighs 12g/0.4ozt.
Condition is excellent with no faults and light surface wear.
