Fabulous large circular silver inkwell with a beautiful blue guilloche enamel lid. An unusual concave curved shape to the sides and comes with a clear glass liner.
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1921 maker Henry Matthews.
It measures 5 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" high with a loaded base.
Condition is very good with no damage or repair, light surface wear with a little rubbing to the marks. The enamel is in very good order with just the smallest signs of wear at the very edge to the right of the hinge.
