Lovely Russian silver beaker/kiddush cup with superb art nouveau engraved decoration of flowers with straplike leaves. Tall and slim with tapering sides, and elegant piece.
Marked to the base with the kokoshnik mark for Moscow 1899-1908 and maker's initials AL in cyrillic (I haven't been able to trace the name).
It measures 10.5cm high and 6.5cm wide rim to rim. It weighs 82g/2.6ozt.
Condition is excellent with no damage and only a few light surface marks. The rim is not perfectly circular due to the handmade nature of the piece.
